Our privacy commitment: We do not sell your data. We ask for minimum information required for providing our service and improving it.

1. Information that Legitmailbox collects

    A. Information that you provide us

    • Newsletter Signup: When you signup to our newsletter, you provide us your email. Optionally, we may collect your name & RapidAPI username in some cases.
    • Monthly Reports: When you want to receive monthly reports, you need to provide us email addresses to receive the reports.
    • Email addresses you verify: When you use or Email Verification Service (API) via RapidAPI, you provide us email address to verify. We may log them for providing customer support and for analyzing errors. The log files will be deleted automatically in 30 days.
    • Feedbacks: We may ask you for Feedbacks. Without your consent we may post the Feedbacks in our website. With your consent, we may add your name, deisignation & company name in the Feedbacks.
    • Interactions with Legitmailbox: When you contact us through email or any other channel, you provide us details such as email address, your social media profile.
    • Surveys: We may ask you to fill up forms created by third party like Google forms or Zoho forms to get some inputs/opinions to improve our product. Additionally, links to such survey forms may be in the website.

    B. Information that RapidAPI provides

    When you use our API via RapidAPI, RapidAPI provide us some information to provide you the service.

    • RapidAPI Username: We get the username of your RapidAPI account.
    • RapidAPI Subscription Plan: The plan that you are currently subscribed to
    • Invoices: RapidAPI will provide an invoice for your usage which may contain additional payment related information

    C. Information that we collect automatically

    We use Google Analytics to analyze our website visitors. Cookies are used by Google Analytics. We may get information about browsers, the referrer , etc. Know more about how Google uses information,

    Information we collect from third parties

    When you like, comment or in any way engage with us in social media platforms, we may collect your publicly available profile to connect with you or to improve our services.

2. Purposes for using information

  • Provide you the service.
  • Notify you product updates, if signed up for newsletter.
  • Improving our service.
  • Internal analysis / analytics
  • Legal purpose such as taxes: We will keep the invoices we receive from RapidAPI for tax compliance.

3. Your control of providing information

  • You can disable cookies or even delete them.
  • You can unsubscribe from our newsletter and we will delete your email. Please note that this email is different than the monthly email you provide when using our API via RapidAPI
  • If you don't want to provide emails for monthly analytics, we are fine. You will not be able to receive monthly reports.
In case, we ask you to provide feedbacks or fill any customer information form, you can avoid them.

4. Sharing your information

    Employees and independent contractors

    Certain information may be accessible by our employees and independent contractors, for example to provide customer support. However, strict confidentially will be maintained.

    Third party service providers

    We use certain third party services to provide you our service. They use the information only if they are authorized to do so and to provide us their service.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

5. Your rights

You can correct the information that you provide us : emails for monthly analytics, automatically using our API itself. In case you unsubscribe from our API, you can contact us to delete information related to you in active database.

Please not that not all information can be deleted even if you unsubscribe from our API, for example, invoices, which will be kept longer.

We log the emails that you verify for maximum 30 days to provide customer support and analysis of errors. Even if you unsubscribe from our API, we cannot delete before 30 days.

We cannot delete your information kept by RapidAPI itself.

6. Retention of information

  • Application Log files get deleted after 30 days. If we detect abuse or illegal use of our API, we may retain log files for longer duration.
  • Monthly reports: They will be kept until a RapidAPI user unsubscribes from our API
  • Emails: Once you unsubscribe, we will delete emails immediately if you contact us. Else, deletion of inactive accounts happen every 3 months.
Certain information like invoices will be kept for longer time.

7. Children's information

Our services are not meant for children's below 18 years. If we found that any children is using our service, we will immediately ban the account and delete the information.

8. Updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
